On a lighter note, I got a rotary cheese grater to grate up some bars of soap because bar soap is gross to handle and shaking soap flakes out of a jar is more fun.

Long Covid may be an issue akin to homelessness in that it is something that can happen to anyone at any time in any sort of circumstances and it scares people so totally shitless that they look away rather than face it and address any of the systemic failures that lead to the predicament.

It is incredibly disrespectful to the half-billion people dealing with lingering effects and new onset physical issues brought on by Covid infections (yes, even after 2022) to routinely dismiss Covid as no big deal and even encourage its spread.
But maybe you also think hurricanes and tornadoes are no big deal so long as *you* don't sustain damage from them.
