Wi-Fi 7 APs apparently tend to IDLE - IDLE, not spec power - at 17-38 watts. That's a minimum of €46-€103 *per year* in running costs for me. Plugging in a cable remains undefeated.

I have several TP-Link EAP110-Outdoor APs around my house. (OpenWRT compatible, btw.) Metered 2 watts each idle. 802.11n, 100Mbps backhaul. Need more? Plug in a fucking cable. Your phone supports USB Ethernet, too. Even your iToy does.
