I do use dual boot, but still have Winboat on the Linux side because some windows specific apps that aren’t demanding. The ones that are demanding in performance are the ones that I use on Windows natively.

Thanks, this is useful info. It doesnt appear to be restarting itself after I killed the process. Is this a good sign?

I think I solved it? I ran
sudo kill -9
(PID being 4212 in my case)
Memory usage is back to normal afer a reboot, seems fine!

"Windows" process using too much Memory (Dual boot setup)
When I start my pc, (Nobara 43) Memory is up to 70% usage. I dual boot, but use Windows like 5% of the time. I have a Swap partition (64gb), but I don’t know if that is causing this. Is it safe to kill the windows process? Can anyone shed some light into whats going on? I was starting to think this is sketchy lol

Because they’re probably dealing with their version of surveillance from CCP. It would be interesting to hear conversations from privacy experts and advocates over there, and share experiences of what we’re all dealing with.

i know it lacks shows, and is owned by a holding company, but i use Letterboxd. My 🚬 cinephile friends are there, so its cool to see what we log. I read that the platform is trying to cover shows as well as movies, but it is still noticeably lacking shows.
