I am hoping that the mythical course at work starts soon. Too many people have been voluntold they are doing a special job and maybe (rarely) their replacement trains them and hands over the SOPs. Several times a week we hold informal one-on-one 30 minute classes on how to do the job and provide SOPs and cheat sheets at the end of the session. Last year I handed over a copy of the SOPs and cheat sheets along with our internal security SOP for them to start building a course. We keep hearing it is being developed then ... [crickets chirping].

I love the 'stability' of WIN11. Machine locked again and won't respond to [CTRL][ALT][DEL]. I don't know if it is because this is an older laptop or WIN11, but it is annoying when it happens a few times a month.

Maybe Amazon should give us the option that if a third party initiates then a request is sent to the person giving them the option of YES, NO, REPORT. If Yes, the order goes through. If No, then nothing is done. If Report, treat it as something Amazon needs to review and don't process.

Like #OCTRANSPO itself, the travel planner is not working. I have been living at my current location for over five years so I KNOW there is a bus just across the street. Just wanted to confirm the start times for tomorrow and then how badly it figured out the transfer point.

Failed in Vivaldi, failed in Chrome so it isn't browser related. Firefox it just barfed.

Sigh, the one model that has what I want and it isn't available. Another similar model from a different company, not available. Both are much more expensive compared to last year. I didn't buy then as we needed a new A/C, Furnace, hot water tank, washer, dryer and a fireplace removal. Now that I have the cash saved up... :( Personal preference is a mini machine to replace my laptop. Hooked into a UPS so I have several hours of backup power. I can then do my final backup on the Windows laptop and reimage to #mxlinux

Is it just me or is FB just showing screaming political "sites" and not friends and family posting? So-called "sponsored" slop that has absolutely zero interest. Fake media sites, and they are fake as FB won't allow us in Canada to see real sites all too often. I can go for minutes scrolling and zero items from friends and family.
