I was struggling to import Google Thread credentials into Home Assistant because my phone was using another network as its preferred, so I made a tiny Android app that literally just lists the known/available Thread networks for export.

I feel like I'm having really bad luck with using the Raspberry Pi 5 as a headless "server" box. I have 2 of them and both regularly lock up and stop responding until they're force rebooted to the point where I gave up on one and moved all the docker containers to a NAS.

The other one also recently decided it didn't want to boot without a display attached after a normal software update.

I even replaced the SSDs in both.

Not really sure how I feel about the new Affinity Studio. If I'm understanding it right, all the existing features of Affinity v2 are free now, and there's just additional AI stuff available if you have Canva Pro, which is good on the surface, but I'm worried about the move to a subscription model, even if right now it's just for AI.

But this *is* the new phone.

Nothing apparently makes good earbuds. The CMF Neckband Pro is (are?) really good, especially for $50. Good sound, good ANC, super long battery life, convenient and functional multipoint + pairing.

I think the actual MSRP is around $30, but I had to get my pair from an unofficial seller on Amazon because Nothing doesn't sell it to the US.

Seems like the driver situation on the new Qualcomm laptops is a mess.

There's supposed to be a new beta driver to improve game performance, but no one seems to know how to get it besides either having a Qualcomm PR contact or using the GitHub repo where someone has gathered a bunch of drivers.

And if you use that GitHub source, you might make it so your computer boots to a black screen unless you get into Safe Mode because the driver fails in a way that doesn't let Windows disable it.

Seems like Google turned off the AI search summaries. I can't imagine why!

I bought Krisp Pro a few years ago because the technology worked pretty well and I wanted to be able to use it outside of Discord on my Mac.

Since then, the app's gotten so bloated to the point where it constantly nags me to enable calendar integrations, choose Krisp Speaker in my active app, and show AI meeting summaries.
