i dislike nearly everything about the tech industry but yet i remain. i like helping people do things they want to do. that's pretty fun. i like learning and gaining skills. i don't like signing away my freedom to corpo-fascists. that part is pretty fucking lame. i'm glad i'm willing to take a stand and say no to things. it will probably mean a bitter fight to the end but fuck it.

if you have an otherwise solid tool you offer in the open-source world, and you add some AI thing to it, i don’t care what it is i automatically lose respect for the devs and the tool itself. i.e. docker never needed it’s stupid little ai companion.
