I need to figure out how to give my old hardware new purpose. I've talked about how I have laptops going back to my first one from 2003, which remains true. But I also have a Game Boy Color, a Game Boy Advance, a PS Vita, a PS2, a PS4, a Nintendo 3DS XL, a Nintendo Switch, and probably a bunch of other stuff that I could be using, but generally don't. But I could.

It's never lost on me that I get to spend my free time in the best possible way.

Thinking abut how sometimes half the internet goes down when AWS is having issues and now looking forward to the majority of the internet simply not working when ID verification services are down.

I just bought my first pair of canvas sneakers. I guess I'm slowly morphing into @BaSinghSe@infosec.exchange.

Usually when Disney closes an old attraction, I'm somewhat upset about it. But today is the last operating day for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster with Aerosmith and I feel absolutely nothing for it. Honestly, I'm sure the Muppets replacement will be a significant improvement.

Every day I think it can't possibly get any dumber and then it gets dumber.

People will often ask me (mostly in-person) what my top privacy-related tip is. It's a tough choice because there are so many things that the average person can and should do, but probably doesn't. But I almost always land on "delete old accounts that you no longer use." It's something that literally anyone can do, and although it's time-consuming, it also has a massive impact on your privacy hygiene and your overall online footprint. Data can't be abused if it's not there in the first place.
