On the topic of the police tearing down the satirical posters in the ACT...

If you legislate that certain types of discourse or illegal, you can trust that politicians and law enforcement will make the worst possible interpretation of that legislation. Often to further their own objectives.

That's why I tend to be on the anti-censorship and pro-free-speech end of the spectrum.
