Loving this Subway Stations and transfers project by @albertgui@social.ferrocarril.net: 3,169 stations from different European cities are hand-modeled and available to browse, some of them as interactive 3d models! Zooming and panning around the famous parisian Châtelet-les-Halles is impressive! (no deep link support unfortunately, you'll need to navigate to it). #Subway #PublicTransport #PublicTransit #Urbanism

Odin is whining and howling because mommy let a perfectly good tram come and go without getting on board. I might care about the destination slightly more than he does #dog #dogs #dogsofmastodon #tram #publictransport

A public transport terminology question: What do you call a kind of (usually bus) route feature where the line turns onto some side street, serves one or more stops along it, turns around, goes back along the same street, and then continues onwards on some 'main' road? (And seriously, this feels obscure enough that I'd like answers in literally any language) I know two Polish terms for it - "zajazd" and the clearer and perhaps more professional "wjazd kieszeniowy" - but nothing that could possibly be recognized by anyone not from Poland, which might be an issue with regard to documenting a thing I'm working on. Attached is an example of what I'm talking about from a Brno line map I had lying around: #PublicTransport #DuckDuckFedi #language #bus #zajazd #WjazdKieszeniowy

If I were running #Canberra ... I'd have a fleet of paddleboats so that workers in the parliamentary triangle could paddle across Lake Burley Griffin whilst the main Commonwealth Avenue Bridge is havi

@troberts@theblower.au oh! Maybe the bridge closure could have been our opportunity to have a ferry system! Bus, Tram, Ferry! #publictransport #actpol
