The Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Ghyzym Abbasov, speaking at a joint consultation meeting between Afghanistan and Central Asian countries in Kabul, initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, stated that Kazakhstan is actively working on rail services, transport, customs facilities, and investment with Afghanistan. For his part, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Khoshiguldy Auchov, stated that the commencement of practical work on the TAPI pipeline, railway lines, and transport infrastructure paves the way for economic cooperation to lead to other forms of collaboration. India has allocated 1.5 billion Indian rupees to Afghanistan in the 2026-2027 financial budget, an increase of 500 million rupees.
