@revivalrecords@cupoftea.social It may also be worth noting that the song was co-written by Neil Sedaka, who passed away a few days ago. The Wikipedia article for this song has a nice account of how it ended up being recorded by Francis: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stupid_Cupid #NeilSedaka #HowardGreenfield #ConnieFrancis #StupidCupid #AldonMusic

Neil Sedaka, legendary singer-songwriter behind hits like “Love Will Keep Us Together” and “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do,” has died at 86. Over the course of his six-decade-plus career, Sedaka was nominated for five Grammy awards (including one at the second-ever edition of the show in 1959). He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1978 and was also inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame five years later. @Variety@flipboard.com has more: https://flip.it/PYVqYZ #Culture #Music #Entertainment #Celebrities #NeilSedaka
