One of the best things about a #woodworking hobby is that we are always learning. I am beginning work on a Mid-Century Modern footstool that will have some non-standard corner angles held together with wood glue and dowels. Problem is how to clamp this. Found a #Tooltip online to make these little "clamp shims" which when cut at the same angle as the corner cut and clamped to the two side pieces, a larger clamp exerts perfect pressure when placed correctly. I blew the placement as shown here.
