Hi, former optician here, your glasses are probably fine quality wise but you should consider updating your Rx more often, at least every 2 years. Eyes change more than people tend to think they do, and since our lenses can be adjuated with muscles we often don't notice when our vision begins to deteriorate. I have a total correction of about -3d in each eye, but if I dont put my glasses on in the morning I don't need them and can go through my day normally. As soon as I put them on and am hit with the strain relief though I'm unable to go back to not wearing them for the rest of the day. Edit: for clarity, I was an Optician, a lens technician. Not an optometrist/ophthalmologist, my experience with eyes is purely through being in the field where people get equipment from, NOT from actual medical experience.

Formerly of ohio, now of the southwest: Ohio’s Mexican food is fine. Better than it has any right to be, not great though. I’ve found better tex-mex in Toledo, OH than in Houston, Tx (Houston’s tex-mex is kinda shit though). I have never seen real Mexican food in the US worth having outside of my half-cousin’s Abuelito’s kitchen.
