@apc@starside.social #animangafoundit Would it be terribly bad form to ride off the back of an entry by @sakasama@fe.disroot.org from last week's challenge? The manga of Bloom Into You satisfyingly finishes Yuu and Touko's story whilst the anime left us hanging. The moment where they finally managed to work out how they feel about each other still makes me smile from ear to ear, and I just know that they will remain happily in love together for the rest of their lives.

@apc@starside.social #animangafoundit No hesitation in my choice this week. Nowak from "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth" is one of the best villains I've seen in any media. A fanatical inquisitor, Nowak goes about his grisly work with an unsettling sense of calm. Superbly voiced by Kenjirou Tsuda, you always know that when he shows up, things will go very wrong for the main characters. Utterly devoted to his cause, utterly irredeemable, and immensely watchable.

@apc@starside.social #animangafoundit For a hidden gem, I'm going for something that crosses over both anime and gaming. Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin was a game that never hit big numbers, but it really resonated with those who played it. Being a huge fan of the game, there was no way I would miss the anime, and to all intents and purposes PA Works did a grand job. Great character models, a faithfull story adaptation, and the original Japanese voice cast reprising their roles.
