@atpfm@mastodon.social On the topic of iMessage splitting conversations, I hadn’t seen it happen until very recently when a Siri dictation created a new thread for an existing one. What I noticed just now - and haven’t heard you folks mention - is that the conversation remains split on my iPhone where it originated, but is continuous and un-split on my iPad via Messages in iCloud. This leads me to believe it is a device-specific bookkeeping bug rather than a service issue. Food for thought…
