@davidrevoy I'm no artist, so I don't have the vocabulary to articulate my feelings and thoughts properly, but I really like the proportions and anatomy here! It is really visible that the character is an adult, because the hands, feet, and head are properly enlarged relative to the body size, and they don't look childish. It is very impressive and wholesome to see, considering how much art there is of just children or downscaled adults that is presented as "this character is an adult". I find your take on it very sweet 🩵

Today, I once again wake up worrying about #Rust 's future.
Why is a shitbag such as #dtolnay still allowed to single-handedly maintain fundamental libraries for the ecosystem? Why is he part of Library API team? How is he not permabanned for single-handedly permanently damaging Rust by killing off comptime reflection over his racism? How is he not permabanned for the power play he attempted to pull with his "RFC" after pushing pre-compiled binary to serde without notice? Why are MIC companies routinely tolerated at Rust conventions? Why does no one talk about it, despite the problems not being solved? Has #Ruby takeover taught people nothing? Will Rust survive another year without turning into #fashtech?
So many questions. I think about them every time I use Rust, which is often.

@jk The thing that gets me, is like... It's been 3 fucking years. Nevermind companies - it's a poorly kept secret that they are ran by clowns that won't even consider others until their bottom line absolutely tanks. But others?
Like, there are so many projects that have went AI, and ALL of them were met with extreme backlash. So how are there new ones still going AI? How deep in the ass your head needs to be to not know that people literally fork projects over AI? Or is it arrogance and the feeling that others have done AI poorly and you'll do it good and no one will complain?
Either way, there's something seriously wrong with project leaders who keep doing this.
