It’s come to my attention that some of you don’t wash your rice before cooking it. There seems to be a correlation between those that wash coming from a ‘rice’ culture (ex: east Asia) vs those that do

@octothorpe@mastodon.online Not rice culture, I wash long-grain rice, but don't wash round-grain rice which I use for Risotto and rice pudding.
