Good Morning, all,
well, that was weird... Woke from a lucid dream this morning, almost all of which I spent carefully crafting a Visit Report to convey vital intel on an Oxford quantum computing startup. I can still taste their exotic coffee and somewhat disappointing biscuits.
On waking, I concluded I'd reprised an episode of 'Doctor Who' but have since realised it was the first half of a 'Silent Witness' story.

If Desperate Don's #War against #Iran is "self-defense" as #GOP toadies claim, why hasn't President Donald Tantrump invoked #NATO Article 5 and asked his allies to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with America (as Bush did following the 9/11 attacks in 2001)?
After all, if it is truly "self-defense" that implies America has been attacked by Iran, the very case Article 5 is designed to counter.

At one point, while still in the #ICE vehicle, one of the shooter's fellow hoodlums has his finger on the trigger of his assault rifle.
Regarding firearm safety, best practice is to keep the index finger extended and one should only place it on the trigger when one has a target and is about to fire.
These thugs are worse than cowboys.

it's called #UNREP (Underway Replenishment) or #RAS (Replenishment At Sea); it's a routine evolution for any truly pelagic Navy.
But it's not without risk. Warships occasionally collide when manoeuvring two/three massive ships within 50 metres of each other at up to 18 knots.
An Inquiry will determine the cause of this complex casualty, but Donald Tantrump will undoubtedly blame #DEI, as the DDG's CO is Black.

woke to news on #BBCWorldService radio that for the first time China's global warming emissions have reduced year-on-year.
Admittedly, the decline is only 0.3% but, given structural changes to PRC's economy, hopefully the world has turned the corner.
I sought a link but blow me if I could find the story on #BBCnews. It was #1 on World Service but 5' into bulletin on domestic #R4Today
Tho I could've learned more about Sarah Ferguson asking Epstein for bankruptcy 'advice'.

Of course, the #GunNuts will condemn the serial murderer as mentally-ill and, by definition, _not_ a #RGO (a Responsible Gun Owner) like them.
But they all have summat in common, a fetish for and ownership of (lots of) #Guns. And a warped grievance-collector mindset suited to mass murder.
Removing easy access to firearms reduces that risk.
Or gun-owners should swear an oath - if they ever begin a shooting spree, they should shoot themselves first.
