I want to do a #marchintosh project, but not sure what. I don't have a retro mac. I have an OS 8 and 9 VM in qemu (that runs damned smooth on my Apple Silicon MBP). Can't do #globaltalk because I can't open ports on our Optimum router (don't have the login). Ideas?

In my story book, there is a tall, handsome king, who is preparing to go to war with an opposing clan, and he's donning his armor and readying his men and is about to go to war along with them. Proud kings do that. They fight wars for their people. They lead the charge. They lead. They don't run off to Florida to play golf. I think that's why I admire and respect #Zelenskyy so much. He has the makings of a proud, handsome king. #Trump does not. Trump is a coward. Though he thinks himself a king.

That was a good #PuppyBowl I've been doing the Puppy Bowl tradition since it started streaming, so 4 or 5 years, and that was the best. I lost my shit over Bad Doggy. They some things differently to protest the Bad Bunny non-sense, like two dogs were from Puerto Rico, and another one from the U.S Virgin Islands, to make people aware those are part of the United States. But I don't think anyone is taking the All-American jerk-off show seriously.

It will be interesting to see the viewership stats for #puppybowl vs the Toilet Paper USA show. In the last several years, the Puppy Bowl has gotten about 13 million viewers. Nowhere near the Super Bowl itself, but it gets more viewers than the Super Bowl pre-game stuff. And seeing as how Erika Kirk's little townhall thing got as many views as a late night infomer cial.... #superbowl

@mattblaze@federate.social So I know the Wyoming Cheneys really well. I'm from Wyoming and grew-up around a number of them and I've heard that MGT is 100% showman. She does the Jerry Springer shock thing, because Trump is shocking, and she gets away with it. But she started realizing that all this reality television show make believe she was creating was having very real world effects on people. Very bad effects. It has consequences. Dangerous ones. She's pretending. Trump is not pretending. So the about face.
