Spending this morning with #UteLemper 's superbly articulated "Berlin Cabaret Songs". In German. For people into "Babylon Berlin"; this is a great step up to the real thing; if you know a singer who does Weimar cabaret better, in this day & age, please let me know.
I adore this album as it perfectly captures the '20's/'30s Berlin naughtiness with humour and a wink.

Happy 39th, #SignOtheTimes !!! I remember you coming into this world, made me get a peach and black outfit for the concerts.
It was also the first year #Prince bankrupted me, but making my 1986 vow come through, which had me promise myself that if he'd ever come to the Netherlands again, I would see EVERY concert, not just one out of three.
Then he played seven concert in NL...
While the three albums with #TheRevolution sparked the obsession, 1987 started an inferno that lasted a lifetime.

There are at least two recordings of this show and one of them was recorded nearer me than the other, as you can hear me shout "Oh, come ONNNN!" just after he breaks up the NPG in the MFin house chant. (grin)
