They know you're burned out.

This company would rather have you show up 2 hours late every day and while you perform at 50% efficiency until you quit voluntarily than go through all of the expensive bullshit.

LLMs are not weapons. It's just a technology which can be developed in both an ethical and unethical way. The people who are using LLMs to exercise unjust power over others are doing it unethically.

I also know what it is like having lacking documentation and reading the source code to understand it instead. But I personally find that makes it even more rewarding when you do find a solution.
That's probably another (but personal) issue that I have with LLM usage. It removes the hacker spirit that I love. It turns everyone into result oriented goblins who do not appreciate the art of hacking. They just want something done as fast as possible, without caring about the journey.

@mischievoustomato@tsundere.love I don't think much will be improved. We're already reaching the limit of this tech and we're already throwing massive amounts of computing power at the problem to get increasingly diminishing returns.
And these companies will have to start charging 10 times as much as they do right now for basic subscriptions to make it economically viable in the first place.
