Sorry, I read "glans" instead of "glands" - my understanding is that the foreskin is made up of inner and outter skin (the inner skin is actually mucosa, a wet tissue like the inside of your cheek). Outter skin from the start of your shaft to your circumcision scar line, then inner skin (mucosa), then your glans. Mitosis (skin growth via tension) works on inner and outter skin, so you should end up with a normal amount of sebaceous glands from restoring. Mitosis results in new nerves, blood vessels, and I would assume new sebaceous glands (but I haven't checked for sure).

Start with a bunch of research. I believe there's a beginner's guide on the foreskin_restoration subreddit. But the way to get started today is "manual methods" and "Andre's method" is a really popular one. Most people buy a foreskin restoration device or two. I like the car-1 and Mantor DS. Just ordered a Restore In Comfort packer too. And I T-tape at night towards my head (this is part of why a bunch of research is where to start - I'm sure these words mean nothing to you right now).

Glans is the tip/head/non-skin end of your penis and it should not have been touched during circumcision. Maybe by mistake something happened. But there are body tissue structures that are removed and lost forever from circumcision. Namely the "rigid band" and part or all of the "frenulum" So a restored foreskin is not quite the same. But people who get circumcised as an adult and then later restore say that restored is about 70-80% as good. And far better than nothing!

Yup! And I highly recommend it. Just from the small gains I've made and the difference it makes, I've become pretty much completely anti-circumcision. Definitely completely for babies.

Yeah, I was cut way too tight so I had (slightly) painful erections for years. Turns out it was a pretty quick fix with some dedication (like 3 months). HUGE quality of life improvement. But I'm not stopping until I look intact!

I’m restoring my foreskin right now and so thinking about this reminds me of people who take the tomato off a hamburger and then add ketchup…
