As an occasional transit user, this morning is the first time I've gotten a battery electric bus. I know there's issues with this specific model (driver comfort and supply chain for replacement parts), but I must say it's very comfortable as a passenger.

Having no engine vibration is a huge win, and I'm pretty sure the regenerative brake system encourages better driver braking habits.

Today in sensible arguments presented to city council:

We're worried that adding more people to our neighbourhood will reduce the number of students at the school and cause it to close. 🤦‍♂️

@robyn@yeg.bike I just move on. These are presumably toots where the privacy settings don't include you, or from an instance that doesn't federate with yours. So I don't think it will change in the future.

@AnnieBuddy@mstdn.ca I have been to business school and have a CPA. I've seen friends and coworkers go through the MBA indoctrination program.

Most business management is a mix of personalities and values, but there's something special about MBA programs that takes in reasonable people and churns out groupthink automatons who've had their humanity stripped away.

@ECityMom@mstdn.ca I'm feeling misquoted here. I don't think these things are the future. I understand that educators believe they need to teach these tools because they're being told that they're the future.
