My newest book "Requiem of a Queen" will be hitting online stores at the end of April and I am so STOKED.

It's the second novel in the Grimm Retelling collection and revolves around Princess Anna and her escape and subsequent return to her home. There's murder plots, goblins, and a dashing huntsman.

Who knew a hiatus would cause so much work on the back end? On the bright side my newsletters are now up and running (free ebook magnet and all) and I have one novel coming out on pre-order with the draft of the next one only a few chapters from completion.

Do writers read differently from non-writers?

Some people claim they do and I've heard the advice go both ways for "reading for pleasure" vs. "read to analyze".

Personally, I find it more enjoyable to read for enjoyment first and then take notes later if the mood strikes me.

What have been your writing-related achievements in the last year?

I finished a few installments of the Nephilym Chronicles and a novella that will be coming out this November. As always, updates can be found in my website and newsletter. :blobcat_love: I'm also 1/2 way through the third novella in my Grimm's retellings which is going much slower than expected. :blobcatsip:
