@dadbod It's worth noting that if you highlight a passage in a book that isn't licensed for AI training use, you may have aided Amazon in committing a theft, and could be held legally responsible for the copyright infringement that happened when your highlighted portion was ingested by the LLM. I'm not a lawyer, but the legal theory seems sound to me.

@raye be careful of thermic shock. Keep the bathroom you use during the night warm. Japan loses a few elderly every winter to temperature shock from walking into an unheated traditional bathroom in the middle of the night.

@monkeyninja Logically, I cannot prove that faeries do not exist. However, it costs me little to acknowledge the Good Folk and carry on the traditions of my ancestry, and if faeries do turn out to exist, I'm covered. I think Voltaire said something like this about a relationship with God.
