Lost a good colleague recently, not that much older than myself. Dr. Ned Gentz, retired zoo vet, awesome resource on birds and exotics on the Veterinary Information Network, and a genuinely friendly guy, passed away rather abruptly recently. I feel my world shrinking now, as I approach my 56th hatchday, and it will be a little less colorful without him here.

Back home from Europe <20h & I’m already ready to go back & get away from these American car sewers. All I want are some goddam groceries. Thank goodness it’s getting warm enough to bike again.
