My doorbell takes a picture of my mail carrier every day. I'm sure this 10s of millions of times a day. I'm looking forward to the shit-show when DHS dumbly uses (illegally acquired) Google and Ring data and declares the entire US postal service (along with every FedEx and UPS employee) as under suspicion for, basically, being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I installed a roof rack on my car today. The instructions called for tightening the bolts to 22nm. Let's face it. It's just a roof rack, I could just hand tighten it. But.... an excuse to buy a torque wrench. The wrench wins.

There was a big bowl of pesto sauce in the cafeteria at work today. Just poured myself a boal of pretzel chips, heavily topped with pesto. Got a good garlic buzz going now. Not feeling guilty in the slightest.

@cstross@wandering.shop You had me until the last few workds "CUI spec". The only good thing that came out of CUI was an expectation that you had keyboard focus semantics, where TAB moved focus correctly and space pressed the default button.
