Yesterday we hiked Mesa del Rito at Bandelier. SO many ruins on the mesa! All unexcavated, so you have to use a little imagination to see their shape, but this one looked like it might have once been a kiva. We also managed to find the old sign that once, I'm told, gave mileages to Painted Cave (10) and Stone Lions (7) though it's completely unreadable now. Also, lots of cranes still migrating. And way too much cliff-scaling crossing various fingers of Lummis Canyon.

Pot sherds near Ojo Caliente. Probably somewhere in 1300-1600 AD range, but I don't know how to pin them down better than that.

Trying to set up autopay with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Me: It says "autopay can't be enabled right now, please pay your current balance" even after I paid my balance and got a confirmation number.
Online chat person: That isn't possible.
Me: I made screenshots, want to see them?
OCP: ...
OCP: give me a few minutes

In the end, he was able to set it up. I'm guessing the website bug won't get reported, so it may never be possible to set this up without intervention from tech support.

Took bikes to ABQ yesterday to explore the trails along the Rio Grande bosque. The trails were packed with happy, friendly cyclists, hikers, runners, and people on scooters and hoverboards. There were lots of cranes on the river and in the sky, and a roadrunner who ran across the trail in front of us, but the highlight was the porcupines: three in a tree and one (unfortunately dead) on the ground. I'd never seen one before: thanks to the woman who pointed them out!
