I finally found a new home for the darkroom equipment I posted on Freecycle several weeks ago.

He recommends displaying prints in a frame without glass — like a painting. As he points out, a photo with glass is more likely to be damaged if it falls!
I order most prints from Mpix, and I usually pay the extra cost to get that protective coating.
I can only imagine what it would cost to have a large panorama like that framed professionally!

We're going to install some track lighting soon to brighten up this side of our family room. I'm going to remove the "glass" from these cheap frames. I like the gloss, but they provide no meaningful advantage in presentation.

@johnlehet I don't think this technology has been developed with that purpose in mind, but I've read other articles about clever ways of defeating those systems.
I'm in favor of thwarting attempts by any business or government agency to ID the public. They have no intrinsic right to wholesale surveillance, and I have no obligation to make their job easier.
