@Rich @LWorksGames Issue with that is that Pipewire and VMWare openly despise each other and have done for years. Your next best thing is VirtualBox, but that has its own set of oddities.

In 2018, I made a game with the simple goal of typing as many words correctly as you can in 35 seconds. The game got a rewrite in 2020 and was updated through 2021 with a settings menu, background music, a high score system, 5 rounds of gameplay and more. Relay UK: great if you're deaf or hard of hearing, not so good if you're blind. Android? If you want items that screen readers literally can't get to. iOS? If you use screen recognition, even then it's kinda spotty. Windows? Don't even bother. I expected better from BT to be honest.

I wondered why my Windows XP VM was suddenly lagging like hell when it had been flying like a bird for ages, until I tried updating VMWare Workstation and the installer detected Hyper-V was being used. Well, there's your answer, Seedy. Disabled Virtual Machine Platform via Windows Features, restarted the PC and now XP is flying like a bird again. Never let VMWare use the Windows hypervisor, folks. Let VMWare be the hypervisor.

Turns out we're still having to surgically remove parts of YunoHost from this instance months after moving away from it. If you wanna self-host Mastodon, don't use YunoHost or any of these control panels that offer to one-click install shit for you. Just don't. If you have the knowledge and patience, do it yourself. From one self-hoster to another.

I don't usually like to get political online, but as countries in the Middle East continue to have the shit bombed out of them, I'm left worrying about the safety and welfare of a really close internet friend of mine who lives over in Kashmir; I haven't heard from him for literal weeks leading up to the attacks. Fuck you sideways, Trump, everything you get you damn fucking well deserve! If I find out that any harm has come to my Kashmirian friend, I will be both devastated and furious as fuck.
