It doesn't look like Session is going to survive. Session is an encrypted messenger that solves for a few problems that Signal still has. First, users do not require a phone number to sign up. Second, the message delivery network is decentralized, meaning there is no one business entity or country to subpoena for user data.

I'm pleased that the Colorado Public Utilities Commission has taken steps to ensure data centers on our grid will pay more for electricity than residential customers.
