The administration that gutted the NIH and other scientific research bodies is now perplexed why the US is falling behind in medical research.
Of course, their solution isn’t to restore funding to the NIH, but deregulation that makes it easier to bypass ethical reviews and jump straight to human experimentation with new drugs.
Because the real bottleneck isn’t the actual research, it’s those silly “ethics” /s

We’ve finally found the breaking point where the GOP is calling for gun control and it’s… not hundreds of children dying in school shootings but a man showing up to a protest with a CCP and a gun ICE away from him before murdering him (after January 6th and untold numbers of GOP protests where they were open carrrying AR-15s, BTW did I mention their hero Kyle Rittenhouse?)
