Yesterday I received news from my close friend, @mohamednaji@kafeneio.social, that his mother fractured her pelvis after falling off a cart during transport, and had to undergo surgery. Her condition is stable, but it’s going to take quite some time before she can stand or walk.

Even transportation isn’t safe for people in Gaza.

This is a video that my friend, Zaki (@Zaki@kafeneio.social), sent me of his one-month-old daughter, Rose, from his tent in Gaza. He and his wife, Razan, lost three babies shortly after they were born before they were blessed with Rose.

Winter is here and they need to keep little Rose warm and nourished, as well as Razan while she navigates postpartum amidst a genocide.
