A KC-135 doesn’t have ejection seats. You bail out through the chute in the cockpit. Unfortunately, in 2008 (the year I retired) they removed the parachutes to save weight and also because the aircraft was so reliable.

The pictures of the KC-135 that crashed in Iraq do not show the wreckage. They show a stock photo of a KC-135. The one they show has a tail flash of ZZ. That’s the tail flash of the 909th Refueling Squadron in Okinawa, Japan. #KC135

I’m reading that 2 tankers were involved. One crashed and one landed but was damaged. The KC-135R/T model can deliver aviation fuel through the air refueling boom and this model can take on more aviation fuel through the UARSI panel on top of the cockpit. One tanker can transfer fuel to another tanker.

My cancer doctor said I was in remission! Then bummed me out by saying I’m going to have to stay on the medication for 3-5 more years!

I asked if I could ring the bell?

She said unfortunately, blood cancers like yours are chronic. 50% of her patients that go off the meds have relapse.

Hegseth is a drunk moron. I personally was on a NEO mission in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire in 2002.
Our mission was to go into the war zone and rescue the non-combatants from the situation. Non-combatant Evacuation Order. My small team of USAF and Army personnel rescued 476 people from the middle of a civil war.
