TTP-04-011 — Not validating beyond your layer is abnormal In Some Cases but the point of a layer is to provide _that layer_ not some set of guarantees not in its protocol that complicate that layer and would actually constitute a different layer.
TTP-04-001 — Ok whaaaat. Devices with lower versions are not worse off running tor than they are not running tor. They aren't deceived into thinking tor makes them any better than they are. And people who can't afford newer deserve an ounce of cover even if it's not perfect.
TTP-04-004 — I think this is a big deal. Actually a bunch of these are pretty relevant, but especially this one.
Lack of certificate pinning, etc... nice catches. I can see why cure.53 has such a good reputation.

I wanted self-discovery on this trip. If I had to spend a season adrift it was going to be foolish to come back the same person who left. Life... so far, has provided, and how. My convictions are getting jostled at every turn and I'm loving it. I hope by the time the season ends I'll be back on something like even footing, but I know there is no footing; only kamae, and ukemi.

One thing that has horrified me as I travel - how often I hear domestic unpleasantry through the walls of wherever I'm staying. The percentage occurrence is yikes; the percentage occurrence when the neighbors have children is terrifying. Stay anywhere a week or two, you get to know which aunt yells and hits as soon as the parents are off to work, etc. World's grim. Taking away the online won't save them.

@xgranade I had friends in the schools so I had to enter sometimes... I made a protest backpack that was made by knotting plastic tube like a giant crochet bag. Technically the material was transparent, and the holes were like an inch across, so they couldn't ban it, but good luck figuring anything out at a glance.
