spend $100,000 on a electric sports car so you can listen to fake engine sounds and pretend to shift
spend $10,000 on a gaming rig so you can have fake frames and set your house on fire with the power plug
I never imagined things would be this gay

@MeBigbrain@poa.st the ear can heal really well apparently, people who stretch their earlobes out with those big dumb discs will have them surgically repaired by cutting and stitches and you can barely notice any scarring
and then there are those goofballs who get elf ear surgeries

@Will2Power@poa.st I'm relieved the 6 pounds of chuck I had to grind up was still good. the flu put me on my ass right after I bought it and it's been in the fridge for almost two weeks

if israel nukes iran they'll kill a bunch of people but they won't stop iran squashing them. nukes aren't a magic "I win" card

@BroDrillard@nicecrew.digital I assume people who think halting iranian oil exports will cripple iran haven't spent 5 minutes on wikipedia reading about their economy. they've been sanctioned for eternity, and at this point they are largely self-sufficient

@professionalbigot69@poa.st I was in fact wearing darn toughs
I changed the insoles in the boots and it moved my heel a bit higher so it's unsurprising they were rubbing a lot. once I do another wet break in with these insoles the problem will go away

@john_rando@poa.st it looks like the way they normally work is get all the inputs, work the logic, set all the outputs, repeat. which is definitely the smart way to do it
some newer PLCs can hit I/O in the middle of the scan but it seems rather ill-advised

gee maybe because every target country is putting people in prison for eternity if they dare record an attack and the commercial satellite imagery companies are on a 14 day delay

@BroDrillard@nicecrew.digital @sickburnbro@poa.st yes. iran is in this for the long haul, they're operating as if the war will last years. there's no reason to do more than what they're doing. they could fire a couple dozen drones a day until the end of time, whereas we'll be out of *any* means to try to shoot them down in another 2 months
I doubt we've degraded iran's missile and drone capabilities by even 10%. meanwhile they've shot down dozens of our ISR drones and those don't exactly grow on trees
