I always like a wee bit of water with this one. Buttery almonds wth vanilla and dark fruit, plums and raisins. Familiar waxiness, green apples, citrus and sweet toffee. Dark chocolate and a little spice to finish. No sherry bomb, but the PX is most definitely there 😃

Fresh, bright and fruity on the nose with hints of cedar wood and vanilla. Wooft! What a wonderful mouthful: initially red fruit, especially strawberries and black cherries. Buttery, floral, and peppery, with a long, warm, spicy, oaky finish. 🥰

I love returning to a dram I haven't had in a while. I'd forgotten just how fruity and delicious this Deanston is. Vanilla, malty sweetness on the nose. Delicious waxy fruitiness on the tongue: peaches, pears, citrusy and finishes with a gentle tingly spice.
A terrible time for those who hate sport, with the Six Nations and the Olympics in full swing. Watching the "Women's Big Air" at the moment, and commentators seem to be talking a different language - I have no idea what they are talking about, but I love their enthusiasm.
Apparently, there's some sporting event in California later, featuring a cast of thousands wearing body armour and motorcycle helmets. But I'm about to watch proper football in a moment, the Scottish Cup, Stenhousemuir and Falkirk

Vanilla and hints of marzipan and orange, some green apple developing. Quite hot, a bit of water quells that. Spicy clove, liquorice and orange marmalade. Nice waxy mouthfeel and a lingering spiciness.
