@levi that scary moment when age is gauged by maturity and intellectual level checking quiz and we are all stuck with Hannah Montana Linux or worse, something by oracle.

@nixCraft i start from / with sudo and do a top level scan first with -h -d1 2>/dev/null to give top level unix dirs totals while keeping the output clean. this works for a single user personal device, where you usually are the owner and admin and user as well.
