I'm thinking about buying a StarBook Ultra by @starlabssystems@mastodon.social and I'm wondering if someone here on the Fediverse (not related to StarLabs) owns one and could share some personal opinions and insights about it?

Besides regular office work, I do some content creation, 3D modelling, local AI stuff (just tinkering).

I'm looking for decent hardware I actually own and control, and I want to use it for a looooong time (10+ years).

Currently, I'm using a MacBook Pro M1, so this is my benchmark (material, battery life, computational power). But I really miss Linux and GNOME...
