@hund@gts.linuxkompis.se The difference is the amount of data included. Some data, like the app preferences, log files, GPX and FIT files are not saved in the database. The zip export includes the database and everything else, so it can be considered a full backup.

Regarding Matrix: we are not likely to add another communication platform. Matrix is FOSS, secure and relatively user friendly. An account is needed, yes, but those are made anonymously.

We've released 0.89.1 today, because of two regressions in 0.89.0 that were reported in the past week:

- Garmin: Fix edge case on activity timestamp processing
- Huawei/Honor: Fix exception when processing workout data

Our new release 0.89.0 is published! 🎉

This round we bring not one but two big new features: sync with Health Connect and internet access. 💪
