seeing Unreal devs switch to Godot because of Tim Sweeney's shit opinions feels nice. Now, I think the Godot engine is too immature to use, so I'm still in Unity, but the contributors to Unity are not one bit better in any way. Not to mention the shady shit out of Unity themselves over the years. At the end of the day though, need an engine and don't want to make one myself, and I had nothing but sheer exhaustion fighting against Godot. I fundamentally dislike it, and even with a better looking theme the thing still constantly throws up on me. I think if they fixed all my issues with Godot crashing and it ran like a charm, I'd still dislike it because the design decisions seem to get in my way more than they help.
