#WritersCoffeeClub Feb 19 - What’s your biggest challenge when crafting a satisfying ending?

I suppose when it comes to ghostwriting, I'm writing the ending the customer wants rather than where I would particularly end the story.

There was only once that I really loathed writing the ending, but it's probably turned out to be the most successful ghost project I've written so far ...so what do I know. 🙂

I've always liked gamng, and I'm particularly a fan of strategy games which I would say needs some creative thought to get to the win.

It doesn't affect my writing in any way (that I perceive), but it's my first choice when it comes to doing something other than writing to occupy my mind.

An excerpt from a "concept of a plan", set in a future world where AI doesn't quite get it all its own way. 🙂

...I was in my classical guitar phase. I had tried everything from AMSR to Grindcore, but either extreme of that scale had been causing memory glitches as I slipped out of sleep. I had been experiencing voices that spoke to me in the split-second that my waking state took over. I reported the phenomena. At first, I thought it was a malfunction on the implant, but that was quickly ruled out by a system scan. The thoughts were emerging from a part of my mind that lay beyond the scope of the technology that fed me with all the other information I needed.

When I had a different day job it was 4 am until 8 am.

Now it is the day job, it's noon until 6 pm.

The days of doing the school run are long gone, so it no longer makes sense to be rushing to work too early. 🙂
