I do love the notoriously vague commentary for the Barkley Marathons - like following a sports event via small pieces of paper slipped under the door every hour or so. Hadn't even realised it had kicked off this year and it's already well underway.

Reminded today, when adding yet more follows, that an issue I have with the fediverse is that there's just way too many smart, fun & interesting people about.
Keep seeing posts and thinking, ooh this person seems super cool/intriguing/entertaining, and, oh, how about that then, I'm not even following them already, must sort that out.
Like entering a big gallery or library when it hits you that there's just so much more art or science than time or brainpower to ever properly appreciate...
