Just like the other networks not serving their original purpose. E-sports isn’t sports either but ESPN has reported on them and covered them because it’s money.

@calsnoboarder@universeodon.com They’ve covered it for years and now they broadcast shows, too. The same way MTV isn’t MusicTelevision and History Channel barely covers history. It brings different eyes to their content and that makes them money.
