My biggest frustration with AI is that we're blurring machine learning and generative AI into one blob.

Good use of AI (ML): Improving audio quality and filtering out background noise etc, *without* changing the audio content (spoken word) - Riverside do this for their 'Magic Audio' feature.

Bad use of AI (GenAI): Garbage videos by so called UGC creators (aka scumbag influencers) that they've just thrown into something like Sora.

RIP Rob Grant, co-creator of #RedDwarf.

Honestly never thought I'd say this, but i'm genuinely considering moving away from #1Password.

Their announcement of a price hike today, and the line "AI-powered item naming" as something they're promoting as a positive has me concerned.
