The line of storms seems to have broken up around us and passed mainly to the north. Got very dark and had curtains of rain but that was about it. Whew!

I shoulda known @steveshives@mstdn.social wasn’t going to like Voyager’s ep ‘Pathfinder’. He hates fan service and this ep is one giant fan service installment. That’s too bad. I love this ep and am grateful for ANY time we get to spend with Barclay.
The end scene where the crew finally gets to talk to Starfleet is one of my all-time fav scenes in all of #StarTrek. I don’t care Voyager’s crew wasn’t the one initiating the call home. I still get goose bumps each time.

Apple isn’t the only one celebrating an anniversary this year. June will mark the @Iconfactory@iconfactory.world 30th year in business. Still hoping and praying we make it, would be very nice indeed. We can’t afford to do the kind of celebration I would love to do but I’d honestly be happy just getting there.

It’s hilarious and scary that Donald thinks he can declare war on a country, bomb school children, kill their leaders and then just expects them to fall in line and *not* retaliate by doing things like mining a strategic waterway or destroying Israeli oil depots.
There’s too much reading when you wage war. Trump can’t be bothered by daily briefings or do homework and so he just ad libs the whole thing and so many many people die and world economics are thrown under the global bus. #USPolitics

@scrwd@mastodon.social Colors are a bit trickier but once you know the palette you can use it or approximate it when you create your mosaic/portrait. A couple I’ve done have required shifting a few hues to existing colors but they still turned out great.
There are about 43 colors but their consistency varies depending on which vendor you order from. The lighter colors are the most inconsistent for some reason, maybe because your eye can spot the hue changes easier. Not sure.

@scrwd@mastodon.social The frames are the easy part. You can buy them lots of places including Amazon. They are designed for 48x48 pixel mosaics however and we create ours at 64x64 so it takes extra frame tiles to assemble one. Still realtivly easy though.

Why stick around and suffer yet more impeachments and investigations when he can take the $3+ B he’s grifted this past year and just leave? He doesn’t care about his ballroom or his Arch or anything else really. Only being in the spotlight. He can grift from Mara-largo without the headaches of the office just fine.

If, god willing, Democrats win back the House this fall, I would bet real, actual money Mike Johnson will quit Congress. He’s such a coward, such a toady if there’s no reason for him to carry water or tow the line anymore he simply won’t stick around.
This will also be true of many more GOP in the House. Think 50 retiring is bad now? Wait until Trump is a true lame duck. I bet we’ll see at least 20 more GOP retire after losing the house. No reason to stick around at all.
