The plan tonight is to finish the last three episodes of The Lincoln Lawyer. Unlike season three, this fourth season has been very compelling and great storytelling.

I’m not really the type who gets all stupid when encountering people of notoriety (major or minor celebrities, etc.). I know good and well they’re just people with a job that happens to have more public exposure than most of us.

Nonetheless you know we all still have at least a small moment of pleasure when we encounter such people out and about in public.

I’ve periodically come across the short little dance videos by three sisters known as #TripleCharm. Last night I saw two of them in Publix.

Beginning to sense I might be on the hook for a new TV soon. Once in a while I see the right half of the screen sort of pulse brightness in a flickering manner. 😭

I wonder how long before #AppleIntelligence finally figures out that 90% of the time when I go to move a message from my e-mail inbox, the destination is a previously created subfolder named for tomorrow’s day (or Monday if the current day is Thursday) and offers that folder as a default suggestion.

@flexibits@mastodon.social May I submit for consideration a possible future feature that mimics the Split View display of Outlook calendar? I manage delegate calendars for meeting room reservations and sometimes it would be helpful to display the four rooms displayed separately like this.

Or does something already exist that can approximate this?

If a customer submits a job in the default generic 8½x11 photocopy product, commercial shops might just run it anyway and maybe even willing to redo it when the customer reveals they were expecting 5x7 cards but didn’t use the postcard product.

I noted the art was only 5x7 and texted the customer not wanting to have to charge them twice since my markup doesn’t have room to eat a redo. Customer might think it’s nitpicking but I’ll get the order correct the first time.

How much longer are they able to keep up the running gag of Whittaker constantly getting messed on and fighting with the scrubs exchange machine? It’s been funny but starting to get long in the tooth.

Just encountered a social post elsewhere referring to President Oompa J. Loompa, and I can’t stop giggling.

I regard myself fairly intelligent at deciphering signs and instructions companies display for customers. But Publix had me pretty confused this week.

Small sign promoting BOGO on French’s yellow mustard listed a range of prices I could save. The highest price in the range insinuated the sale included the big 20oz bottle. But the sign also said only 12 or 14 oz bottles.

Turns Out™ the smaller bottles of dijon were also part of the sale, priced the same as the 20 oz yellow mustard not on sale.

That’s it. I’m done pretending to not care about #Walmart’s refusal to join the rest of the world and support #ApplePay. I have lost track how many times I’ve had to park a full cart near an employee and tell them it’s not abandoned, I just have to run back to my car for my wallet.

No matter how pleasant the store is otherwise, the five-star satisfaction survey at the end of checkout will, from now on, only get one star until they support Apple Pay. That is my satisfaction barometer.
