@dentaku Am Samstag, also vor Tankrabatt, waren alle auf der Autobahn auffallend gesittet unterwegs. Ganz ohne Brummis fuhr man rechts höchstens 100 km/h. Auf der mittleren Spur 120 bis 130 km/h. (Richtgeschwindigkeit! It's a thing!) Niemand boxte sich mit Lichthupe die mittlere Spur frei. Wer schneller fahren wollte, nutzte stattdessen die Überholspur. Ein Wunder!

@systemstabilisatorin Es gibt heutzutage, was die westliche Philosophie angeht, grob zwei Richtungen: Kontinentalphilosophie (besonders Deutschland und Frankreich) und Analytische Philosophie (vornehmlich anglo-amerikanisch geprägt). Und die Uni Saarbrücken ist zum Leidwesen vieler Lehramtsstudis letzteres. Ich fand es prima.

@tyzbit Are you sure? I suspect they're hypocrits. Anyone who criticizes an awful public figure e.g. for being plus-size just hates plus-size people and loves body-shaming. As simple as that. And because a lot of lefties take the stance "you cannot, per definition, discriminate against powerful privileged people" they get away with it. @ShaulaEvans

Sie haben nicht das Ausmaß an Todesangst erlebt, das Kriegsflüchtlinge erlebt haben. Aber ja, sie können deren Erleben nun etwas besser nachfühlen und mithin besser verstehen als wir Sesselpupser. Und er sagt übrigens mit keiner Silbe, er hätte zuvor kein Mitgefühl gehabt. 2/2

Wir haben uns doch nicht jahrelang darum bemüht, auf die Relevanz von »lived experience« Betroffener hinzuweisen – sei es Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund, Geflüchtete, Marginalisierte, Behinderte –, um nun auf ein plumpes »Das kann doch wohl jede*r mit Empathie verstehen!!1elf!« zurückzufallen. 1/2
