87% of video games released in the U.S. before 2010 are technically unavailable for legal purchase.

As of 2026, libraries and archives can digitally preserve, but not digitally *share* games, and can provide on-premises access only. Libraries *are* allowed to share books, films, and music both onsite and remotely.

This is all very messed up.

I managed to queue up all this content while still hiking once a week :) I also have two whiteboards on the wall now with the intent of getting organized and staying that way. So, that Mini PC I'm testing, with the AMD Ryzen 9 HX 370 + Radeon 890M graphics... I benchmarked a suite of six games across Windows 11 and #Bazzite. Arc Raiders, Cyberpunk, Forza Horizon 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Spider-Man Remastered. When measuring average FPS, Bazzite wins EVERY SINGLE ONE. This was honestly NOT expected for some of these games! And not only that, but Bazzite shows superior frame pacing in titles like Spider-Man Remastered and Horizon Zero Dawn.

True story:
On my ASUS ROG Strix laptop with a fully updated Windows 11 and AMD Radeon graphics driver, #PathofExile2 defaults to the integrated graphics instead of my Radeon 6600M. I can't select it in-game. Trying to override that in Windows' "Graphics" settings results in the settings window crashing every time.

My #Garuda partition on the same laptop: boots up PoE2 using the dedicated GPU. No tweaks required.

#Linux #Gaming ftw.
