Maybe I misunderstand something, but this sounds like google want to make the android ecosystem more open, with more independent app stores and billing methods. 🤔 Wouldn't that also allow @fdroidorg@floss.social to keep working? #keepandroidopen

@apps@toot.fedilab.app the fediverse is an open ecosystem and there is no instance to define what is right or wrong. Build what you think is needed, and when it's cool, people will use it. And there will always be people opposing, you can't make it right for everybody.
